Who can attend Workday Rising?

Workday Rising is open to current Workday customers, invited prospective customers, sponsoring partners, industry and financial analysts, members of the press, and Workday employees. If you would like to attend or have questions, use the links below to get in touch with us:

Some experiences are exclusive to the in-person event and not available with the digital pass. In-person attendees get tons of opportunities to connect with product experts and our customers through industry meetups, live peer-to-peer learning in the Braindate Lounge, complimentary Ask an Expert sessions, talking to the session leaders, and the Workday Experience and Expo.

Customers may purchase one of our group bundles during initial registration, where you can select an Enterprise and Federal Government Group Pass or Education, Public Sector, and Nonprofit Group Pass.

 

Customers can buy group bundles and invite peers from their organization to register with the purchased bundle. Commercial and federal government customers should use the Enterprise and Federal Government rate package (six passes). State and local governments, nonprofits, and education organizations should use the Education, Public Sector, and Nonprofit rate package (four passes).

Follow the steps below during the registration process to take advantage of the customer group bundle:
 

  1. On the registration landing page, select Workday Customer then In Person Pass.
  2. Select a group pass bundle.
  3. Fill in the required registration information and click Save to create your account.
  4. Select the group pass package. If you need additional group passes, select the Additional In-Person Group Package and the amount desired.
  5. Complete payment information and click Submit Order.
  6. Click on Continue to Attendee Portal and then My Account to view your pass bundle(s) and start inviting your colleagues to register with one of your passes. Remember that your passes must be used by individuals from your organization using their business email address with the same domain as yours.
  7. Your colleagues will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to register for their conference passes. Note: Each person must go through the registration process to receive their conference pass and book their hotel room.
  8. While not required, if you are personally attending Rising, you can assign one of the passes to register yourself and book your hotel room.

 

No. You can add names to your Group Bundle(s) later by logging in to your Attendee Portal.

If you have already invited someone but they have not completed their registration, you can remove their names and invite others on your Attendee Portal. If they are already registered, contact us at risingregistration@workday.events directly.

No. You can add Group Bundles to your account by contacting us at risingregistration@workday.events directly.

When you add the names and email addresses of the colleagues that are included in your Group Bundle in your Attendee Portal, each person will receive an email inviting them to register and book their accommodations.

Yes.

It’s up to you. The individual that purchases the Group Bundle has the option to assign a pass to themselves or not. All group passes receive the same conference benefits and access.

Yes, if you purchase the Group Bundle(s) during the Early Bird period (through July 18, 2022) you can combine the group bundle and Early Bird rates.

Yes, this is the only process for taking advantage of the group bundle rate.

You are welcome to bring a guest to the Customer Appreciation Party on Wednesday night by purchasing a Guest Party Pass during the registration process. The $250 pass includes transportation, food, beverages, and entertainment. Guests must be 18 or older and present a valid ID. Guests are not permitted to other functions or public areas of the conference. If you already registered, please email the Workday Rising team to add the guest pass. 

Email the Workday Rising team for any changes to your registration. To edit or cancel your hotel reservation, log in to the Attendee Portal.

All registration cancelations must be received in writing. Email your cancelation notice to the Workday Rising team.
 

If you are registered but can no longer attend the event, then you may:
 

  • Change your conference pass from in-person to digital
  • Transfer your conference pass to another person in your organization
  • Cancel your conference pass

In-Person Pass Cancelation

  • Cancelation before or on August 12, 2022: Full refund of registration fee (less a $150 administration fee)
  • Cancelation between August 13, 2022, and September 11, 2022: 50% refund of registration fee
  • Cancelation or change after September 11, 2022: No refunds. Your in-person registration will allow access to on-demand content viewable at any point for 60 days.

Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person within your organization. Email the Workday Rising team with the names, titles, and email addresses of both the original and substitute registrants by August 12, 2022. Substitutions may not be granted after this date. Credits are not issued for a future Workday Rising program.

What will the health and safety protocols be at Workday Rising?

Attendance of Workday Rising in Orlando could potentially include testing, proof of vaccination or test results, masks, or even a pivot to a completely virtual program. This will be confirmed as the event gets closer by our Workday Health and Safety team and medical experts, in alignment with local restrictions.

No persons under 18 years of age will be permitted at the conference, including in breakout sessions, keynotes, and all other Event venues.

  • Monday: Welcome Reception (drinks and a light buffet)
  • Tuesday: coffee breaks and lunch
  • Wednesday: coffee breaks, lunch, and the Customer Appreciation Party (drinks and a casual dinner buffet)
  • Thursday: coffee breaks and lunch

Yes, we have negotiated special conference rates at many hotels in the area. See the list of host hotels.

Discounted hotel rates are available until August 15, 2022, or until the room block is sold out.

Yes, all our official conference hotels provide free Wi-Fi.

Some of our official conference hotels charge a daily resort fee in addition to the room rates to cover things such as on-site amenities and free Wi-Fi. The following hotels charge a resort fee:
 

  • Hyatt Regency Orlando—$12/day
  • Hilton Orlando—$27/day (Optional)

You are responsible for making your hotel reservation through the Attendee Portal as part of your conference registration process.

No, but we highly encourage you to so you can take advantage of discounted group rates available only to Workday Rising attendees and subject to availability.

Yes; however, this is subject to availability at the time of the booking.

No. In order to take advantage of the discounted room rates, you must be registered for the conference.

No. All reservations and changes must be made in the Attendee Portal until August 21, 2022. After this date, you will receive a final hotel confirmation email which contains the hotel issued confirmation number. Then, you may contact the hotel directly for changes.

Yes. All the hotels require a deposit payment equal to one night of room and tax in order to guarantee your reservation. The hotel will charge the deposit payment using the credit card on the reservation on or after August 22, 2022.

You will receive a hotel confirmation email upon completing your booking. This email does not contain the hotel confirmation number. However, a final hotel confirmation email will be sent after August 21, 2022 when our team receives the hotel issued confirmation number.

Although the hotels do their best to accommodate all special requests, unfortunately they cannot issue any guarantees.

All hotel changes must be made in the Attendee Portal until August 21, 2022. After this date, you will receive a final hotel confirmation email which contains the hotel issued confirmation number. You may then contact the hotel directly for changes.

If you do not check in on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can opt not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged a penalty equal to one night (including tax), regardless of the hotel opting to reinstate your reservation or not. If you think you will not be able to check in on your scheduled arrival date, contact the hotel directly to let them know about cancelation or late check-in.

The Orange County Convention Center is located at 9899 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.

Major airlines provide air travel into Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is located about 13 miles from the Orange County Convention Center.

No, transportation will not be provided to or from the airport; however, you can purchase transportation services at the airport.

Yes, shuttle service will be provided to and from conference hotels (unless they are within walking distance) and the Orange County Convention Center. The schedule will be available in the mobile app before the conference begins.

Yes, parking is available for $20 per day at the North and South lots. In addition, there is free parking at the destination lot and a free shuttle between the destination lot and the North and South Building. Get more details about parking.

Average September weather in Orlando ranges from the high 80s to the mid-70s. Bring layers of clothing to accommodate warm days and potentially cooler evenings. There is always a chance of rain. The Customer Appreciation Party takes place outside at Universal Studios Florida™, rain or shine.

The dress code is business casual. We do not host any formal business or social networking functions. While we do our best to control the temperature in session rooms, we recommend you bring a removable layer for your comfort.
